We're not going to know the result until Friday.

I'm going to try switching off my telly and radio until then. :D

My cousin was asking if I'm staying up but I don't know yet. Edinburgh/Aberdeen/Glasgow not declaring til 5/6am estimated. 10pm til 2/3 am is going to be a LONG time :)

Darling and Salmond both appear to be in agreement that the referendum is a one off, and that there is no 'going back. Someone needs to tell Farage that once you have a referendum on something, you can't have another one to reverse it..

Yes - I'll probably get a couple of hours kip when I get home, then later-on at some point, then be awake for 5am. I think work will be decimated on Friday whatever way it goes. A couple of colleagues already have dibs on the secret "snooze room"

We are the most informed citizens in the world right now. I left a meeting in Hamilton Miners’ Welfare and a retired labourer caught me on the stairs and quizzed me about what I thought the position would be with ten year bond yields in an independent Scotland. Kids can talk you through the details of the Shengen arrangement. Most of us can run you through the constitutional position of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Unit.

Prepare to change your minds. David Beckham says no!

'The ex-England captain said: "I took as much satisfaction in seeing Sir Chris Hoy or Andy Murray win gold as I did watching Jess Ennis and Mo Farah do the same in the Olympic Stadium.'

But in that same article Vivienne Westwood says it would be
absolutely great. The future could be just amazing
Even with the detailed discussion of the pros and cons of both sides from various celebrity pundits, I would certainly find it difficult to make up my mind. Hardly surprising there are still all those Don't Knows.

When I look at all the revolutionary and inspiring messages of yesteryear, Beckham's plea must be up there with Castro's announcement that all major American enterprises will be nationalised in Cuba, Martin Luther King's civil rights marches, or Chavez's return to power after the short-lived coup. At the very least, it is an excellent example of just how dearth of hope we will be if it is a no.

Seeming to do something even it has no impact is clearly preferable to being seen being shouted down by a granny from Port Glasgow
