I see a big german bank has chipped in calling a yes vote a mistake that could lead to the hyperinflation seen in weimar era germany

It's puzzling why, if Scotland's such a clear basket case, England wants to keep hold. You'd think Cameron et al would be glad to be shot of the place.

15,000 Orangemen marching through my city centre today and I have to take the kids clothes shopping on Princes St this afternoon, happy joy.

Thought they were confined to the Meadows. Hate shopping on Princes St anyway, why don't you go up the Gyle or Livingston or something

Assuming there is a No vote next week, I wonder how long it will be before the next opportunity to vote on it? A vote for Yes means permanent change, a vote for No means another opportunity some time down the road.

No vote probably hands balance of power to SNP at next Westminster election, which is how they got the 79 referendum

Oh aye.. This..

This was the sort of thing on display at yesterday's 'march in defence of the Union' (as the BBC described it) in Edinburgh

They marched past the Museum of Scotland at one point, shame they didn't march inside to the 17th century gallery and stay there where they belong.

Kevin McKenna socks it to them and to Labour in particular.

'Wretchedly and unforgivably, right at the centre of this campaign of psychological terror is the British Labour party, whose conduct during this referendum campaign has been nothing other than a disgrace and a betrayal of all of its founding principles. Like many other children whose fathers are no longer with them, I like to speculate on how mine would have reacted at important events. My dad, a lifelong Labour man and trade unionist, would have been appalled at the recent conduct of the party he taught us all to love.'

That's me invited to a referendum all-nighter on Thursday. I have a special bottle on-hand to either celebrate or drown sorrows with. :)

I had stuff booked in at work on the Thursday, then it dawned on me that the rooms I was hoping to use are actually getting used as a polling station. So I unthinkingly re-scheduled everything for the Friday.:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm: It'll have to be an early night for me, gah!
