The guy is a walking shambles. He can say what he wants, he can't say what he wants through a microphone at full volume in the centre of every town centre and expect not to piss people off. Especially considering what he has done to the families of people that live in Scotland.

Beaten to it. Exactly, this version of 'freedom of speech' is really about politicians wanting not only privileged access but also comfort when they exercise it - all with the veneer of getting down and dirty.
All of which are useless against a determined crowd such as we saw. As we saw.

Well all you have to do is put together a business proposal and go down the bank for a loan of a few tens of millions of pounds to set up an incredibly popular newspaper that attracts the backing of loads of advertisers that will put your point across to the masses and persuade them all to vote yes.

Yeah, Jim Murphy and Better Together only gets pretty much unfiltered access to all the major news outlets and our state broadcaster. Has time set aside to control of the floor of the House of Commons (which means that his speeches are more likely to be protected than Roma Gypsy). But he cannot shout "You're a nationalist at people" in the street, but can lie about what happened to all the major new outlets and state broadcaster. Free speech, some nice Quartz-level perspective. The UK is fucked. Jim Murphy is basically a jumped up lad, and he was defense secretary for fuck sake.
