Why do BMW and Audi owners often seem to drive like idiots?

Meanwhile, back on topic, my personal experience is that BMW drivers are claiming the crown back from Audi drivers judging by the idiots
who are driving around in the current crop of 3 series M3's, probably wrapped.....
Probably the best independent survey I can find :D Which car brands have the worst drivers?

I think I only know one BMW driver (where I know what make of cars people drive).
She's very uncrashy. Does many, many miles in sales job, company car.

Do I even know a BMW driver?
I have an ex colleague who has half a dozen motors and somewhere he has a old 635CSI. I gather it has been with restorers for years.
I hope that doesn't count

It was a bit of a blanket statement, and probably not entirely true. I guess it's like tarring all Audi drivers with the same brush. There are so many bad ones that it's easy to assume they're all like that.

My dad had a clean licence until he got his Audi A6, then he racked up 9 points under a year - just saying :D

Long while ago the 635CSI was a car I lusted after, beautiful shape. Saw one recently and couldn't recall why I had liked it. I suppose we get used to the shape of cars changing.

I always remember Ford producing the Sierra which I thought at first was spectacularly ugly, and a Granada which looked like an American car somehow. I came to like the Sierra after a while and the Mondeo was similar, hated it at first, but grew to like it.

I don't think my current car will ever grow on me; it's just a car, bought to fulfill specific needs.
I still lust after something with a large bonnet and big engine underneath...to make up for my physical inadequacies you understand. It will not be Audi or BMW
if, it ever happens.

My mate has an A6 twin turbo diesel. They're quite a capable car. I flashed the ECU with a 370bhp file and removed the speed limiter, to make it even more capable. Strangely, the extra power didn't result in any speeding tickets, which I'm sure will upset some people.

There used to be a bloke in Brixton who apparently looked just like me. Except he drove a BMW and pissed everyone off reasons I never got to know.
I'd be waiting in a Post Office queue or in a supermarket and on several occasions I'd have someone come up to me and angrily say, "Hey, you're that wanker that drives the BMW aren't you?"
I managed to persuade them I wasn;t the BMW driver ad he must have moved away soon after but I never got to know what he did and how his car was involved.

Why do you think people would care about your mate? But if he did hugely break the speed limit all the time, then he was a fucking wanker.

I bet it upset the owner, all those turbos etc and he couldn't beat 70mph!

I posted about my mate and his car, and you replied:
Try adding the context and learning the difference between a poster adding a personal opinion/anecdote and quoting some unnamed unknown 'mate'
Anyway, one more twattish post from you and I'm putting us both on mutual ignore because all this petty crap between me and you here and elsewhere is disruptive and - I'm sure - deeply boring for everyone else,

and that would be an abuse of your moderating powers but in all honesty if you could do the same for me it would make me feel a lot better about not having the function to put you on ignore when you're behaving like this
Don't call me a cunt, please.
I said you were coming across as one. That's different to calling you one. As stated, I hope you're well.

I'll add this thread to ignore now as I had to with the last one I engaged with you on.

Sure, happy to do so, as requested. I haven't enjoyed debating with you at all recently. And don't forget - mutual ignore means that you don't reply or mention me in any subsequent posts.

*I'm not sure if the plug-in is working yet but no matter as it's been explained to you. Just put me on ignore. Bye.

Anyway, what is a square taper back bracket, I want to know if my bike has one and whether I've been making a knob of myself to the proper cyclists
