I was in Czechia myself a couple of months ago and spotted one of these coupled up in between two DMUs.
We do now have something almost like this in Scotland...

Hahaha, I knew where that was before I even saw the station sign. Yeah, it's the same local rail network in the Bohemian Forest. Tiny bit off the beaten track as they say.

I nearly did a loop round some of those lines but decided the trains themselves were too boring so did some other routes instead. Czechia in general is great though for railways; so much variety. And travelling on some of their intercity / inter-regional services felt a lot like being on german trains about 25 years ago.

Rochester - one of my modest "nudges" to get the new station on the back of resignalling / remodelling and joined up development in the local area. A great little project for the city - giving lots of positive benefits. Not bad value for money either though COVID etc slowed the adjacent development.
Besides a great chance to go to the superb local second hand bookshop and to try the connections from Abbey Wood via the North Kent line to north of the river via what I call Crossrail..........
