It got to -3 last week here and I was thinking what if it hits the -17s this Winter. Reminded me of the winter of 2010.
I'm reminded of the warmest clothes I have for that eventuality.
Here they are...
Thermal long sleeve top .. black
Turtleneck cashmere jumper (fine and warm)
Alpaca handknit crew neck icelandic jumper over all that.
Thermal leggings.
Black heavy corduroy pants.
Knee socks.
Heavy winter tread doc martens boots or knee high caterpillar fleecy lined boots (these are 20yrs old and going strong..just very heavy)
Northface long downfilled coat..also on the go 20yrs now.
Thermal beanie hat.
25yr old sheepskin gloves.
Woollen snood.
This was my go to clothing during the bitter winter of 2010.
What do you wear in bitter winter weather outdoors?
