What's in your glass?

Late Father’s Day pressie. Bought in the Lake District but made in Cornwall. Spiced.

I prefer rumy rum rather than spiced rum but this is pretty good. No discernible vanilla. Which is good. (See also modern stouts)

Gooseberry and elderflower sparkling wine. So moreish it’s dangerous, or it would be if it weren’t a mere 8.5% alc.

IT’S REAL!!

Was away in the Cotswolds last week and spotted some La Chouffe in a Tesco for £2 a bottle.
Thinking this may have been some weird anomaly, I was cock-a-hoop when I saw it in my local Tesco!

“Summer Wine” - a mix of early fruits that weren’t around in sufficient quantity for a single brew and the first finished wine of this year. This refreshing chilled glass of contentment is made from apple, blackberry and wild raspberry with the raspberry coming to the fore. Very pleased with it indeed 😎

I have to ask - how much of it do you have left?

I'm away in Cornwall on holiday and picked up a few bottles of this in the local Co-op. Awesome stuff. They're missing a trick not putting it in small expensive cans, but I'll be buying some take home.

Was also rather pleased to find this in a Tesco not far away. Don't think I've had it since I was last in Belgium.

The French wine situation is a bit pants in Aldi.
Last Xmas I regretted not making special trips to stock up, this year the best they have is screwtop Fitou..
Well at least it's cheapish...

I love Vocation's beers. In fact I'm drinking from a Vocation glass at the moment!
I'd never noticed them before. I don't normally by beer in the supermarkets but I grabbed a few on my birthday (NYD) because I fancied something stoutly. I tried the Brewdog layercake one as well which was okish but the Vocation and the Siren ones are just lush. Now I'm hooked.

Who makes that Brizzol one Quoggy?
