Worth making i'd say, really tasty! And VERY green Used almost a whole basil plant. Lots left though, no idea how long it will keep. Wonder if i could freeze some?

btw i tried freezing mashed spuds...and you were right, they cooked up a treat in the microwave. No more half wasted bags of spuds for me!

No idea about freezing it, although I have a vague memory of someone telling me you had to eat it straightaway - only vague though, so not a trustworthy opinion!

ah, nice one re the mash - it's not 100% as good as just-made, but as near as dammit, eh?

Oh, and I'm having some kind of co-op frozen margherita pizza with green salad cos I can't be arsed cooking and forgot to take owt out of the freezer

I've got these burger things that are pretty much the size of a plate so I'm having two of them with some new spuds in herby garlic butter and some various veg of some kind.

Not overly imaginative, I know, but I'm in one of those 'just cram a load of shite down yer gullet' moods, iykwim.

^ they'll shrink to the size of very small coasters probably, so I'd line up plenty of chips and chillis

According to the packet, each burger contains 395 calories if you grill em so I think it's fairly safe to say I'm not gonna starve today.

Best to line up the chips and chillies just in case, like. Better to be safe than sorry.

i've been told i can have whatever I want for dinner tonight to celebrate passing my driving test today. However i sort of fancy chip shop fish and chips but feel guilty spending money we don't have on it. So we may well have some scampi and chips from the freezer and get some peas and tartare sauce to go with it.
And something disgustingly chocolatey for pudding
