What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Nando's is the shitest! I fucking hate that chain.

I done burgers with sweet potatoe wedges. The wedges were shit, I don't like sweet potatoe.

We should start our own. You are good for the cash yeah? Will see what is vacant on the strip. Any name or uniform policy ideas?

Got the fella's son round for tea toneet, so am gonna make roast mushrooms (normal and chestnut), roast onions and garlic, pesto orzo, and a salad  Mmmmm garrrrlic :D

Scraps. Smoked mackerel fillet, pork liver pate, dark ryvita, humous, pear, water.

I'm still dieting. Veg crisis, too. May juice some old celery and carrots later. There must be a few vitamins left in there.

Turkey, harrisa and coriander koftas in whole meal pitta with garlic yogurt sauce, red onions and cumin sautéed carrots.
Muller apple pie corner for pud :)

Last night we had pan fried tuna steaks served with a large volume of patatas bravas.

Tonight I am doing something involving prawns and rice noodles - I have lots of carrots, celery, and green and yellow peppers to use up, so they will probably put in an appearance. If I'm feeling up to it (going through a period of major insomnia) I might do some salt + pepper squid too, I have a lot of squid at the moment!

I want that, might do something similar when we're camping at the weekend.

it was very tasty - just a shame we were interrupted half way through by a neighbour stopping by so ate the second half cold - although it didnt effect the tastiness :D

tonight: courgette fritters with griddled lemon chicken

Tandoori chicken breast, garlic wedges and a big old salad.
Posh lemon curd yoghurts for pudding for them...I'll nick a spoonful from each :p and have some melon, too.

That would send me into a total fury - being interrupted whilst eating nice food. NO fucking way.

As we are ever so slightly hungover today, am craving a massive brekky for tea, so I'm gonna fry the two big leftover mushrooms in the same pan as Cauldron lincolnshire saussies, then keep them warm and fry the eggs in that so they get lovely bits and flavours on them, and have with beanz and hash browns, and probably bread and butter too. And a pint cuppa tea

I just pour boiling water over it, stir and cover with a tea towel for 5 mins until the water has been absorbed. I never remember the proportions of couscous to water, just stick vaguely to the packet instructions or that in the recipe I'm following. I use standard couscous, didn't know there was more than one kind, it's all kind of instant isn't it, 'cos it's already cooked, I seem to remember reading somewhere.
