What's for tea tonight? (#8)

God so hungry and broken.........Marinated in lime and tamari, grilled tempeh with butterbeans in a tomato sauce, brocoli with garlic and Brown basmati rice-it will fix me!!!

Couscous with tuna, garlic, onion, tomatoes, green chilli, olive oil, parsley, paprika, roasted red peppers and grated parmesan. Stirred in some vegetable stock to moisten it up and a squeeze of tomato puree.

Last night was chicken enchiladas (bought) and a leek, mushroom & Morbier frittata (made) with some rocket.

Tonight is chippy tea - veggie burger & chips for the littlun, large doner kebab for Mrs R, large lamb shish kebab for me.

Our dinner was lovely last night...but fuck me, I was stuffed! :D

Veggie burgers for us tonight, in wholemeal bread (cos that's *what I've got* :D ) with a cheese slice, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and ketchup...and mustard too, for me.

Strawberries and cream and/or melon for pudding.

Off out doing a shared guest spot with the fella - love doing that, I have fantasies about being June and Johnny hehe :D - so it's a fried egg butty, change of clothes/slap, and off out again! First though, off to the daughter's end of year exhibition

so that's photography, then music, then poetry, all in one night, all by us - I love my family

I've got some horrible cod thing in the fridge that has to be eaten tonight. Will have to drown it in seasoning as it tastes of NOTHING.

Toad in th hole with chilli sausages for him and butternut squash toads for me. Sage in the batter and red onions bobbing about in there too. Some steamed broccoli and carrots to accompany it.

And in the manner of badgers: sleep for pudding :)

Either breaded haddock, chips and peas OR a courgette and carrot soup with garlic bread...will see which the kids fancy. :hmm:

POsh fudge yoghurts for them for pudding.

The Goan curry I made last week but this time with chicken (and maybe some butternut squash?!) in the sauce instead of fish

Jacket potato, greek salad*, cheese & onion crispbake to be eaten al fresco.....squash for me & cold lager for BF.

*I have no red onion or red peppers and I have added spinach & rocket leaves.

scallops, river cobbler and prawns with mushrooms, spring onions and leeks in a white wine/garlicy slightly mustardy creme fraiche sauce with black pepper and taglitelle.

Made a cottage pie but it went disastrously wrong, as the potatoes boiled dry and burnt, so the topping was horrible. I ended up chucking it out and having a cheese toastie.
