What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Last night was the first nod to British pie week with an m & s roast chicken pie, ready made mash and spring greens and peas with trifle for pud.

Tonight I made fish pie and we'll finish the rest of the trifle too :)

Lettuce crumble sounds ace. However, I had a stir fry of vegetables and tofu, with some onion bhajis on the side because I couldn't get spring rolls

chicken & ham pie (was going to be small chicken & veg pies but the recipe got changed ) with floret mix

The littlun is in charge of food today, we've just had a rummage around Brixton market for ingredients.

Lunch: "I'm not cooking lunch. Take me to the caff."
She had mushroom omellete & chips, I had pork chops, mash, cabbage & gravy.

Tea: Macaroni cheese with a funny pasta we found like rigatone which has been cut into little hula hoop shapes. Jarlsberg and mushrooms in the bechemel sauce, layer of mozarella on top, then a second layer of breadcrumbs & parmesan on top of that. Sounds great.

Homemade mint ice cream for pud - we've just made that, looks incredible.

Achari paneer, kabli channa, saag aloo, pilau rice and a roti... oh, and half of my gf's vegetable puri.
I'm not sure I can stand up to go and get a beer from the kitchen :D

A chicken tika masala and nan breads from the freezer.
i'm a lazy b'stard tonight, but it is all home cooked produce :)

Went shopping in France on way back from hols so tonight is epically stinky cheese (Camembert and reblechon) with bread and posh ham

Pork chop with a sage & onion stuffing crust, roast tatties, mashed tatties, carrots, peas & green beans & gravy

Sticky pork with redcurrant (should be cranberry sauce but don't have any!) sauce, peas and potatoes. Plus, made with our fantastic new juicer, a glass of "Popeye Power"! Which is apple, pineapple, spinach and lemon
