What's for tea tonight? (#8)

How was your miso and mustaard thing yesterday?

We had MacDonalds for tea, but I am hungry again. I wish they made bigger Big Macs.
Really nice thank you :) I couldn't find any wihte miso so just used the brown miso that I had, plus the stock was bonito stock rather than dashi but it tasted fine

Lazy nice food. Ken Hom half roast duck, plumb saurce. I managed to fuck it up, the previous time I tried it. Put the saurce on whilst it was cooking and of course, it evaperated.

About 2am I shall have a pasta ready meal with a spinach, tomato and cucumber salad. I'm still on nights so far had yoghurt & blueberries and lentil soup.

Veg soup (carrot and leek) and garlic bread. Nice quick dinner (I made the soup yesterday  ) to eeeeeaaaaaasssssssse me back into the week :D
Dunno about pudding....melon maybe. :hmm:

We had sirloin steaks in pepper and butter sauce, roast potatoes & parsnips, loads of roasr garlic, steamed broccoli & green beans and gravy.

Tonight will be more of the fish pie I made Saturday with buttered cabbage and something else I haven't thought of yet, maybe ful gnaoua.

Innocent Veg pot (the mexican one)..half price in Sainsburys. Will eat on night shift later with a packet of Frazzles for afters.

I've taken something out of the freezer but I'm not sure what it is... :hmm: ...possibly a beef stew :hmm: ...so might do some mash (which my daughter won't eat  ) and some broccoli to go with it (or possibly rice if it turns out to be a chinese pork casserole or something :D ). Tbf, whatever it is, it might not even defrost in time....

I think we'll have a spag bol tonight. I am overly pleased that I have now figured out a way to make a palatable vegetarian, tomato-free version of this... my boyfriend even said it was so nice being able to eat something approaching a meal which "normal" people regularly eat :D not that we don't normally but we do struggle with italian....

Well done, recipe please (when you've got time).

Have carrots, have lentils - soup it is then. Am starting on econodrive early this year - chap stops being paid in June so trying to put some away NOW so this summer isn't quite as fucking awful as last

still feeling rough OU?..:(

I have no idea...I'm still on nights and tend to eat my 'main' meal about 2am but I'm not really organised today..so maybe jacket potato, beans & cheese or the takeaway veggie burger, fries & drink for £2.50 offer?

Spicy rice with prawns and whatever veg I can find. I know we've got frozen peas and sweetcorn, and I'm hoping we have a red pepper in the fridge too.
I might make some lemon frangipane muffins for pud too. In fact I might make half with lemon curd and half with blackcurrant jam.
