What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Last night was lovely tapas and beer at the Brixton Space. Tonight will be tofu stir fried with mushrooms, broccoli, baby sweetcorn and sugar snap peas. Mm.

I had new potatoes, broad beans and tomatoes. Then I had a late night snack of beetroot and stilton. and bastarding hungry again.

I had a lush sausage and mash after footie, in the pub, with peas mixed into the mash. Fuckin nom. And the gravy was the best I've had for years.

Last night made a lush Greek lamb dish with tomatoes/new potatoes/olives/oregano/sneaky bit of cajun seasoning all slow cooked with marinaded-all-day lamb steaks. Was just picking at leftovers for breakfast :)

And tonight I shall be going to the Hoxton Bar & Grill.

Changed me mind

Tonight we dine on Linda Mc mozzarella cheeseburgers, chups, and salad. Rarrr.

Think I'll make a chana mossala tomorrow with spinach and get some onion bhajis  And lager, obviously. Can't drink wine with curry, ew.

Chunks of sausage in an onion/mushroom/mustard/creme fraiche sauce, with rice and garden peas.

Still not had any apple pie so will DEFO have that tonight too.

I had that the other night from a new chippy round our way - with mushy peas, of course. Fucking lush.

Christ, am starving to death now

I may have to forgo the mushy pease as the last time we had them from our local chippie they were rank :(....mind you I suppose I could get a tin in the way home!

block barbecue. I might contribute some sausages or halloumi.

There's already talk of rain and finding the gazebo. I seem to recall last time (november - we're hardcore) I managed to engage neighbours in conversation about national sausage week.

Skint so a vast vat of dhaal is being planned to last me a few days. Chapatis with it. Might be having the same for the rest of the week, although I do have the makings of a roast for Sunday.

after my fail to do any shopping today = a pizza for one from a place near me that does decent pizza for £2 for 4 slices.

I promise I will be up early in the morning for a epic Sainsbury shop.

It was a fine week :)

It was indeed. :)

Oh look, rain! sorry London - probably our fault for planning this barbecue in november. :hmm:

Seeing as it was just me and smallest child (and my lunch was aero) we went to Harvester as I'm rather partial to salads at the moment.

My middle boy has been at my mum's for the week and he's just come home with a white chocolate cheesecake that he made. Most unexpected and most enjoyable

Quimmy likes it very much so I always take great care to let her know when I'm having some :)

i had red wine and steak pie with croquettes with beans yesterday

and fried fish with baked potatoes and mushroom sauce and beans tonight - all good

can i just dare ask (as a slim person) do fat people these days just go on and glutton getting fatter? like stuffing themselves with cheese and fast food like skinny gluttons do? or do they diet i dont care (cos i fancy fat people and am a glutton myself). I think people should just eat what they want anyway (and fancy fat men: fact)

Ex had invited us to a bbq on his plot today but I don't really reckon it's the weather for it :D so we've got chicken wings (with a soy/ginger/garlic/spring onion/five spice marinade), the other half of the tear and share cheese bread and salad. And we still havent had the apple pie and cream  so DEFINITELY  that TODAY too!
