What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I make one with potatoes and aubergines :D

I love the texture

Yeah, I was umming and ahhing about whether to have some potatoes in either/both of these, but decided to just save myself the job this time round and leave it out of both!
I think there's quite a good chance that BOTH the kids will have trouble with the aubergine though....and the small girl'll probably find it ALL too soft and claggy (not her favourite texture!) - which means there'll be retching at the dinner table  :D - that's why I'm doing the bread too, tbf! :p

When I saw you'd posted that yesterday, nipsla, I thought THAT'S WHAT I WANT! and immediately changed my Tesco order to get the ingredients AND to move my delivery forwards to this morning instead of this arvo (TO HELL with the extra quid!!!) so that I could get it all made in time, hehehe!

Have actually made a larger one and a smaller veggie one with puy lentils, so *should* have lots left for the freezer.....so long as I don't go the same way that you almost did (and indeed, the same way I actually did when I made a lasagne last week) and scoff most of it before it's even cooled. :-|

So WE ARE HAVING THAT, with a little bit of warmed tear and share cheese bread stuff and some salad.

Aaaaaaaand - we've got an apple pie and single cream for pudding, too! OMG, OMG, OMG - ROLL ON DINNER TIME!!!!!!

 :D

I'm going out tonight so I will have wine definitely and possibly also some food :hmm:

Chicken Kiev (regretting the multibuy!) potatoes, peas and sweetcorn.
Must eat the strawberries I didn't eat yesterday for pudding too. It's a hard life!

Chicken breasts stuffed with cheese, spinach, cherry tomatoes and garlic with new potatoes in garlic and asparagus for me and baby carrots for him.

mini gnocchi tossed with garlicky olive oil, olives, pine kernels, parsley, chilli flakes and cherry tomatoes.

Dunno yet - Gemini's stopping over, so waiting to hear from her what she doesn't like, then will work it out from there

Really fancy doing the pesto again tbh

Just me tonight so a nice effortless meal.......MORE MOUSSAKA! :D

We didn't have the apple pie last night either cos we were too full, so I might have a bit of that too if I can be arsed to reheat TWO things in the oven. :hmm:

Poached eggs on toast with some parma ham, fried until crispy.

Oooh that sounds lovely

Not sure tonight as I am off to see a friend in a show in Dorking so it'll be either a low-fat sandwich/salad on the train.....or hang the diet and KFC in Dorking!

chicken breasts baked in a tomato and harissa sauce, roasted vegetables and cous cous with chick peas. Meals from the cupboards pre move while our wallets are empty. With my hoarding insincts i think we could probably survive for a few months...

I'm trying to get hold of mr madz to get him to buy chippy tea as I'm too fucked to cook but he won't answer his bastarding phone
