portuguese red are seriously underated, everyone you meet will tell you their favourite. Aside from Xmas and birthdays I normally buy a 5 litre winebox , something from Alentejo region for about 6.50-7.50m euros. For cooking 5 litres for 4.99
 
Emptying out my cupboards.... found a packet of 3 year old dried raisins.. Unopened... Got flour.. A couple of eggs and almond milk (unsweetened and heading for the bin}... The rains smelled OK and weren't green... So.... thinks... Soak them in alcohol....just to kill anything funky. A caramel and cinnamon /vanilla liquor I drop into double expressos if I'm in the mood....with a 50/50 split with Amaretto as killing agent... Figured.. If it doesn't work.. I could just pour it on Greek yogurt with honey {classic) and a fresh fig (if I had one)

This is going to be a repeat..... Have I just rediscovered crepes????? Well fuck me..!

That looks a little bit thick to properly come under the heading of crepes, but it looks fantastic - nice one!
