What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Tagliatelle with sour cream, garlic and leeks. It wasn't the same without the hot smoked salmon, which nobly and regretfully I gave the rest of to my mother, who will probably eat a forkful of it and push the rest away (she's not eating much at the moment and I'm trying to tempt her).
 
Something that I can source from the mini Tescos at the end of the road as I was away at the weekend so couldn't do a proper shop.
I am hoping they will have some of their ready made meatballs to have in a nice sauce with pasta. Failing that, a steak that I can have with a jacket spud. Failing that, chicken something. Or maybe sausages to make into a beany sausage casserole....lots of options really!
 
Scottish Haddock (from Sainsbury !) , twice cooked olive oil fried chips , peas . Yes I know it is only Monday - but cannot serve pulled pork , stuffing etc for 2 days running. (that can wait for 24 hours as plenty left to go round)

Finally the last of the huge batch of really bland bolognese from the freezer. I’ve added a Lloyd Grossman sauce to it to lazily try and give it some flavour.
