What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I'm babysitting abc taking 2 kids to the flicks (ages 5 & 9). I'm thinking Bella Italia as they have a good kids menu and they love spag bol.

Got taken out by my sister tonight...fine dining Pakistani food, pretty astounding. We had a Makanwala Murghi, which was a kind of chicken breast in a creamy sauce with lots of fenugreek, a bit of a kick, despite the cream, and sundried tomatoes - superb! And sag paneer, pilau rice, garlic naan, poppadums, chilli scallops, Indian style panna cotta (sensational) - a sweet little thing with one candle and the whole restaurant singing happy birthday (Haha always hoping it will be over). My sister then presented me with this cool stripy black and white box.....and when i opened it, there lay a navy cashmere throw. You can wear this thing like a scarf, skinny jumper, cardigan, whatever you fancy. The thing falls on the skin like snow, perfect.

I now have a choice of jam & cream "doughnuts" (I thought doughnuts were meant to be round - these look more like eclairs  ), mini strawberry trifle pots or a bag of wispa bites. Gonna have a break and a cuppa then come back to this

Edit - accidentallied all the chocolate while making tea  oops

Orzo pasta with pilchards.

Going to have the pilchards on toast for breakfast so I can deter passengers from sitting next to me on the train. Pasta with tomatoes and sweetcorn instead.

Sarturday I took the tiddler to the Lambeth Country Show, had great fun and finished off at a chippy in West Norwood. She had a fish cake and chips, I had a battered sausage and chips. Sat opposite the lovely Daisy Haggard

Sunday just about managed to get a massive jerk chicken, rice and peas and fried plantain with macaroni cheese in to avoid the messiness of Chucklehead on an empty stomach.

Tonight is salt and pepper squid, roast pork in black bean sauce and Singapore fried rice.
