Anyway, thanks to being greedy last night and polishing off a couple of lagers after the wine (will I EVER learn? Frankly, no), I am hung the fuck over today, and I've got to drive to fucking Darwen tonight and do a gig so it's a chippy tea for me.

Tonight is chorizo and bean chilli, not sure with what, probably rice.

The toast that I made with the last of the loaf this morning, took to work wrapped in foil and forgot because I was busy.

Fillet steak, beetroot tortellini filled with bacon and radish (both Lidl), pan juices, cheese, roasted red peppers. Bit weird but very nice.

I had rye bread with marinated herring, capers, raw onion and radish.
Then I had more rye bread with cheese and picallili.
Two open sandwiches, I suppose.
To be right, I'd eat a scabby sock if you gave it me on rye bread. Love it.

A long day of work and I went to the local cafe before an evening jaunt back down the mine. Proper traditional. Basically a few portacabins shoved together. Large plate of sausage, bacon, beans and chips washed down with cheap coffee. Hit the spot and only £4.50.

Played underground and come back to the Bunkhouse and starving again. Had one of those Ashoka boil in the bag meals. Was a Pav Bhaji and really quite palatable. Helped mostly by the fact it was hot and requires fuck all efforts.

We had chipotle turkey wraps last night, with added peppers/onions/courgette, salsa verde and yoghurt.

Friend treated me to 2 cocktails in 2 pubs, bought a quiche lorraine in waitrose on way home and we scoffed half of it in the pub. Just home so had a tin of sausages in baked beans and about to have the rest of the quiche.

I totally abandoned my class today to jump the queue at the Filipino food stall at my schools summer fair today.
I got 4 boxes of stir fried noodles, 12 spring rolls and pork and chicken kebabs. All that for £10 and we have a feast for tonight.
