Chilli and salt squid, papaya salad and chicken bun hue. Very grateful for it. The delivery fella had a big post-iftar grin on his face

Back on form tonight with an M&S salad and a chocolate and caramel tart, eaten in the graveyard of St Paul's between seeing a recruiter and going to a mapping thing.

I'm supposed to eat at regular times to give my various medications the best chance of working. Ann used to keep me "on track", but now I have to rely on alarms on my phone, which only work if I remember to put my phone in my pocket! ( @self )

Ahhh I see - silly me! My Dad uses one of these Tabtime Medelert Pill dispenser and organiser with alarm ViolentPanda - he's the world's worst at remembering to take his meds and this keeps him on track.

Anyway off round me Dad's after work and hopefully his garden will be dry enough to trial-pitch the new tent.

Then home for not a Veggie Supreme pizza (thanks fucking substitutions) but a stuffed crust 4 cheese one. Will do garlic mushrooms and maybe roast a pepper to go on top too. With salad. And possible wine.

Got some of last night's grains left over might have them as a topping on a baked sweet potato. It's just me and the cat tonight bc he is off to football. I'm not going because it's my first day tomorrow and I want to be fresh and ready. I have got a bit of fomo though :/

We're going to Stanmer woods today with our friends where we'll have our traditional chips (best in Brighton!) after the walk - then hot dogs in rolls and corn on the cob and more cheesecake for later.

I have recently discovered roasted broccoli, it's well lush.

Tabbouleh - Love eating it, but its a PITA to make. So much chopping I always end up with a blister or callous on my choppping hand - Cumin and wild garlic hummus, guacamole and some huge Lebanese flatbreads

I have recently discovered roasted broccoli, it's well lush.

I sprinkled some smoked sea salt on it and some cumin powder before it went in. Came out good. Do you usually put anything on yours?

The smoked taste is very subtle. It works better on top of things rather than in cooking iyswim but it is a very light flavour still. It was given to me as part of a care package. Not sure I'd buy it myself tbh. I like a really smoky flavour and it hasn't quite got that. It's still nice though.

I'm doing that thing that faced with basic cooking facilities (my camp stove) and just me to cook for I'm plotting what I'd like to cook.

I'm still blown away at how good my last attempt at chicken tikka was and fancy going all out on a spiced meat extravaganza. So more chicken obviously, I fancy doing chappali again with loads of coriander and maybe have a go at some lamb chops. What else can people throw out there?

Sounds awesome. Was contemplating doing Chapali with lamb rather then beef, but this way I could cook three different meats in one meal. Unfortunately my other half doesn't like two of them, but guess once made, but not cooked they would freeze nicely.
