My mum made this cod thing which involved putting a ton of salt on it, leaving it for a bit, washing the salt off and baking it in a tomato and olive sauce with sliced potatoes. It didn't really work. The cod retained far too much of the salt and the potatoes cooked too slowly for the fish. So that's one to cross off. She probably got the recipe out of the paper.

Filled up with cheese and biscuits and fruit.
