What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Bah. I can't decide so came on here for inspiration and it's lacking, people, it's lacking

Depends on whether you want something quick when you get home, or don't mind stewing over a stove. If I want something quick these days, I have found frying chicken breast in panko breadcrumbs is really nice with rice or noodles. If you have more time, a curry is always a winner. I'm having leftover curry tonight; made it yesterday roasting chopped courgette, red peppers, carrots and garlic, and in the main pot diced chicken, shallots, red lentils, tomatoes, curry powder and coconut milk. Very simple and tasted really good. Didnt take too long either, about 45 mins.

Fella's a veggie so meat is out cheesy, but thanks :)

Going round Dad's so it'll be something quick and easy. Hmmm. Might just get some fusilli and have with jarred sauce and olives. Boring but quick.

Green soup. Can't remember anything about it except it's very green.

ETA - it was broccoli, spinach & pea soup with some fresh bakery rolls to dunk. The soup was use by yesterday so if you don't hear from me tomorrow it has been nice knowing you. :hmm:

I've just done ours - sorry to have kept you waiting, soj! :D

I raided the seafood stash for me and my boy - so we have GIGANTIC tiger prawns, a ton of garlic, ginger, spring onions, chilli, red and yellow pepper and chinese leaf, in a sauce made with stock from the shells, peanut butter and soy sauce, rice and a pile of psb in oyster sauce. It's YUUUUM!
The girl OBVIOUSLY wouldn't have that :D - so I took out some of the garlic/ginger/peppers etc, fried the last of the bacon, which I chopped into bits first, mixed all of that up with some rice and she had some of the psb to go with it.

Second lot of rice pudding later (*double rice* meal  ) - cold this time

I made a pie with onions, red kidney beans, black beans, courgettes, red pepper, garlic, Mexican spice, feta cheese topped with mashed sweet potato with more feta crumbled on top. Tastes alright but tomorrow I'm adding sweet corn.

We'd been invited to a BBQ tonight but the weather is a bit shite so it might get called off. I dunno what we'll have instead but I'm really enjoying eating lots of salad and veggies atm. We've got some sundried tomatoes in so maybe something with them.

Last night I had jerk ribs (cor) with salsa (rubbish) and sweet potato chips  birthday girl had a chicken burger with cheese and chips

Tonight, either she'll have a pizza and I'll have soup or I'll poach the chicken that's in the fridge and we'll have it with either rice (my preference) or new potatoes (I'll be easily persuaded) and loooooooads of English mustard. Cake for afters, and/or jelly.

Eta: I forgot my dad is taking us to the caff. So that^ will be tomorrow's dilemma.

Monday night I had a burger and chips in the pub and it was lovely. Big juicy burger, chorizo, chipotle mayo and onions. [emoji41]
Last night was a really shit Sainsbury's pizza that I ate one slice of.
Tonight- hotdog and chips before I go out and get drunk. Really need to get back on my diet tomorrow! [emoji1]

I should bloody well think so sheothebudworths :p

Nice one May. I made the fastest feta omelette in the North West cos was sooooo fucking hungry last night. Couscous and salad to go with.

Tonight shall be cheeky Wednesday wine though, a Uni Challenge catch up, then more leching over Jessica Lange American Horror Story, and the MAIN point of this post - fusilli in a chilli and tomato sauce, with extra chilli, and the left over feta crumbled in

That bbq is still going ahead but I can't be fucked and OH has to work late.

The weather had gone all poo as well so I might make a sundried tomato and sweet pepper sauce but I don't know what to have it with. The choices are pasta, bulgar wheat or lentils.
