What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Veg pasta slop thing. 200g orzo pasta, 100g each of baby broad beans/sliced runner beans/sweetcorn/spinach, two 400g tins of chopped tomatoes, garlic and chilli fried off, all mixed up with lots of olive oil. Should be plenty left over for tomorrow.

Rosemary & garlic roast leg of lamb
Dolphin-nose potatoes (with garlic AND gruyere, obvs)
Mini yorkshire puds
Honey, lemon & herb glazed carrots
Minted peas & leeks
Steamed tenderstem broccoli
With gravy and fresh mint sauce

Victoria sponge with fresh vanilla whipped cream and strawberries & raspberries for after

That was lunch. There's loads of leftovers but tea might well just be a cuppa :stuffed:

I'm doing roast lamb with garlic and rosemary and my brother and sister are doing roast spuds, celeriac with creme fraiche, yorkshire pud, cauliflower cheese, carrots, leeks, new potatoes and all the trimmings. About an hour to go but I'm drooling already.

This sounds incredible. I wish I was having this instead of wraps or beans on toast.

Breaded prawns, blackened cod with miso and salad, rhubarb and raspberry panna cotta. It wasn't as good as it should have been from the swankiness of the restaurant, I was expecting better. A lot of the seasoning was just not quite right.

Every time you mention momos on this thread sheothebudworths I go all wistful. Sitting opposite the chai shop in Dharamsala eating the fiery chilli ones for breakfast.

Bottle of cider to go with! Breakfast of champions!

Fast day here - chicken/mushroom/cabbage/psb stir fry with courgetti and spiralized carrots - plus noodles for the kids.
Errrrrm...chocolate rice cake for pudding maybe? :hmm:

A weird sort of salad. Was nice, though.
Ham, olives, boiled egg, beetroot, cottage cheese, pickled onions, celery, chhese and and gherkins.
More of a Ploughman's than a salad, I suppose.
