Today is soup.
There's a choice of creamy leek and cheddar or lentil and bacon so I'll have whatever they don't want and there's also two rashers of bacon left which I'll cut up and add to theirs - and they'll have toast too (fast day for me).
I might do banana porridge for pudding it's defo a porridgy sort of a day out there...

I made a really nice vegan chilli: Kidney beans, black beans, brown mushrooms, last little bit of courgette chopped up really fine and bulgar wheat.

I used three types of chilli again and it was a bit spicer than I meant it to be so I added a plop of sour cream (which made it not vegan ) on top as well as lime and coriander.

I've never really cooked with buckwheat like this before. It took the place of something like soy mince. I'll be doing it again.
