The boy is making macaroni cheese in food tech today :hmm:
He won't be eating it because he doesn't like it so I suspect me and the bloke will be having it for tea, assuming that it makes it home and is edible.
The boy can have beans on toast.

I've taken some chilli out of the freezer as a back up.

I think they're nicer than Tivali, too. We use them a lot, both in buns with fried onions, or with a bean casserole. Need to just add them at the end, though, or they blow up into humungous foam worms

 we dont have Sainsburys in Ireland but I'd be giving them a miss after all!

God I fucking LOVE the Tivali ones but the Sainsbury's ones are definitely an acceptable ethical substitute. They're lovely with red sauce and mustard in a bun. Also microwaved and gobbled on their own when you have the munchies. I don't like them in stews though because they dominate.

I had really nice home made tomato soup last night with chilli oil stirred in.

Liquidise it and offer him a lovely smoothie. I'm sure it could be disguised with some fruit, yoghurt and vanilla. ;)
:D:D:D

Mine too. We've got some puy lentils :) It'll be smoky and a bit peppery and there'll be some lovely potatoes inside. I'm looking fwd to it.
Mmmm - making me want it now!

Not much veggies in em but so long as they taste good. I'd try em
Cheesypoof - I get the ones from tesco, and just have them as hot dogs in buns with boiled onions, ketchup, mustard etc. They're almost indistinguishable from the 'meat' ones, as far as taste and texture go. Lovely!

Anyway, I have now come down with a fucking stinking cold, so getting some leftover naga curry out the freezer for tea. And fucking off work early too.
