What's for tea tonight? (#8)

It's good to start planning these things early on, ie well before 4pm, to avoid disappointment imo.
This is pretty much as exciting as my Friday nights get, these days [emoji6].
I'll be 'coming up' on the guacamole around 8.30pm I reckon, and the high will last several hours after that, and I'll remember tonight with fondness for years to come.

Be sure to bore everyone with how the guacamole back in the day was so much better.

'You just can't get decent 'G' these days'.

You youngsters don't know shit.

sojourner - you should have strangled the bastard with the cable he chucked at you.
If I'd have stayed in the room another minute I'd have buried me fucking fist down his throat, trust me. Fucking cunt he is.

I'm hearin ya!!! I'm havin fish n chips n curry sauce from the chippie, and WINE!
Hell yeah sister! I overdid it a bit on the wine - we went and got that deadly third bottle cos we were having such a good time. Been hungover all day bleurgh!

:D :D :D

Well, I am just about over the hangover now, so I shall be imbibing more of the red stuff later, and really must cook something. Perhaps that risotto.

Did you know that guacamole is endangered? Close to extinction in the US.

Waitrose tb pulled pork burgers in rolls from coop tb with plastic cheese, jalapeños and Chipotle sauce, which was on special for a quid. Winning.

A A pack of cheese and onion golden wonders too salty, half a bag of chips in chippy sauce too vinegary. 4 pints of cider and black, a large glass of white wine, feeling hungry and want poptypings tea, fuck it gonna crack open a tin of beans on a buttered brown roll. A feast for the senses.

We had those pulled pork burgers off the TB a few weeks back. I thought the texture was a bit weird tbh, didn't work for me.

Last nights dinner (in sisters gaff) was lamb chops, lamb kebabs, aioli, peppers and couscous. And a lot of wine....despite this I have been up since 8 watching Transformers with the kids, so mega win for me

Just had a variety of small pieces of fish coated in a mixture of spices as decided by me, based on what I thought might be nice together - chilli powder, black onion seeds, fenugreek powder, cumin powder, sesame seeds and cinnamon - and fried.
Dished that up with a salad made of cucumber, tomato, onion, lettuce, celery, grated ginger, lemon juice, sesame oil, chilli flakes and coriander.

Cor. This might be my new favourite tea. Not only because it was beautiful, but also because it was so quick to chuck together - it took longer to eat it than to make it. :D

I've got a strawberry and rhubarb cheesecake for pudding. Though I might have that tomorrow instead and just get straight on the wine.

Glamorgan/Cheshire sausages (couldn't find Caerphilly cheese in fucking Wales!) with a chilli and red onion jam. new spuds and a French bean and blow-torched red pepper salad

Chilli something pulled pork. Or chicken if it doesn't smell like it'll kill me, and the pork tomorrow. With a big bag of spinach, rocket & watercress and whatever other veg is going off.

runner beans
milled linseed, sunflower pumpkin and goji berries
diet lentil and veggie soup
sprouted aduki beans
tahini
pine nuts
spinach
