ETA - going to fry the scallops, with garlic and chilli, chuck in some coriander and squeeze over some lime juice, and have with some egg noodles.

We are having a WEIRD dinner just cos it's an odd combination of stuff that needs using...breaded chicken fillet strips with some Tesco Finest roasted Mediterranean veg rice..and yoghurt and/or fruit for pudding.

Ftr i had brown sauce on my cottage pie. And we had peas.

He's cut pork tenderloin into medallions which we're having with mushroom sauce, home made wedges, fresh peas and runner beans. With raspberries and viennetta after.

Our starter (late lunch) was grilled asparagus and grilled halloumi on a bed of peppery leaves.

Cinnamon and baked apple flavoured ice cream with added toasted hazelnuts and dark chocolate digestives.

We had smoky black bean stew with lime and coriander, chorizo scotch eggs and avocado. Chorizo scotch eggs were better in my imagination than reality (my imagination had hyped them to ridiculous levels though) - bit underseasoned. Chocolates for pudding.
