What you been doing for the last two hours? (pt4)

Reading, texting, weeping, watching telly, staring out the window, talking to a friend on the phone, drinking tea, eating pumpkin mousse, marking essays. Not in that order.

Halfhearted unpacking, disinterested tidying, popping to the shops for smokes, rewatching The Wire, airing the place a bit and musing generally.....

Being cross about stuff, mainly my husband. He got rat-arsed on Friday night and fell over and cut his head and hand, got home, put the dog in the garden, fell asleep and the dog woke me whining and barking at 2:40 am. Got back to sleep after letting the dog in then got woken an hour later by him crashing about till he got into bed....He managed to break a kitchen seat about an hour ago by putting his knee though it. What is he like?

Do not do stuff like that when I'm giving up smoking and then get surprised that I'm snippy about it

He didn't seem that pissed when we left the pub MrsM :D

Ooh, we've been rewatching the Wire too, loads that I missed first time round.

Last couple of hours I've done a bit of knitting and some interview prep :(

He's deceptive...classic rat-arsed symptoms are that his head goes forward....thankfully he didn't get amorous with anyone while he was out...he has a tendency to do that when rat-arsed....better than being aggressive I suppose but I have had tight lipped cross women hissing things like "Please take your husband away from me and take him home"

back from pub, did some tidying, got into my dressing gown, pottered, played on the internet and had a grump

Aired me head and house. Had a late lunch/early dinner of sausages and jacket spud and stuff. I've been hoovering everything and anything in sight. Gathered in the washing I put out on the line earlier and am now hiding it from cats eager for a freshly washed bed like pile of clothing.:D

I've been watching MTV Rocks all day cos 100 US All-star Anthems has been on so it's been clean, surf, listen, surf, clean, eat, drink squash, listen, surf, fuss kids, clean....

It's been a bloody lovely day both productively and weather wise. :)

Finished painting so have been hoovering and cleaning up after myself generally. Been a VERY productive day.

+ just realised I'm a psychic, which is

Woke up this morning and told my missus the main dream I had, i.e. the movements of a certain section of the family next w/end - and just 10 mins ago Mrs Numbers sister rang her and told her pretty much exactly the same thing, i.e. something they were doing.

So it's all got a bit  on the phone just now.

Move over Jesus and Go me... :D

My birthday. My daughter bought me Monty Python dvd box set, we watched a couple of episodes but I fell asleep half way through the second one. Then went and played football with youngest daughter in the garden til nearly dark. First one to 5 goals and she won 5:4 (again).

i've never seen this thread before.

making easter bonnet, cooking roast dinner, getting trolleyed (not necessarily on that order).

Just woke up and ate food. Half the day is gone

Spent last night talking to the police - trying to negotiate with my in-law's neighbour (this 24/7 stoned/bum rasta woman) not to neglect her children - had to tell her 15 year old daughter that mum didn't mean anything she said. Fuckin' hate having to be a dealing with this shit.

The police eventually took the daughter away.

Been at the cathedral for Easter service. I think it was being filmed for live telly so I might check if i've been immortalised on iPlayer

Have tidied:cool: The cobwebs are cleared, the clothes hung up and it is not so sticky anymore-now relaxing with some books and gypsy music:cool:

I put the rubbish out and saw what a lovely lovely day it is so I paused to look around the garden which is springing up with all my old familiar favourite plants :) How wonderful.
I stopped to pick some wild garlic leaves and flowers and some dandelions leaves to go in a salad for our tea and I have spotted some mint that will soon be good for making tea.

I've been digging out some of my more wayward bamboo - clearing a space for runner beans and courgettes in another month's time.
Lovely stuff bamboo, but not something to allow to run wild for 8 years in a small garden. I'll have to use my electric kango chisel to get through some of the tougher rhizomes.

Kinda wasting the day but that is good on Easter Sunday I feel.

Watched F1
Fried egg sarnie
Snorted snuff
Drunk cider
Snorted stuff
Watched Wire
Washed self
Cleaned kitchen
Drunk cider
Made BBQ
Drunk cider
Ate eggy bread with crispy bacon and maple syrup

Been to the gym for a 10am yoga class and then a 11am body sculpt class.

Really proud of myself for managing both classes...
