Making two cups of coffee, trying to choose paint, replying to PMs and facebook messages, chatting to my mate on the phone about his new flat, his new girlfriend, and cardboard boxes.
Dodging the Sunday hordes in Tesco (they're redeveloping my local one, most people would rather queue for 10 mins to park close than park further away and walk 30 secs to the car! ), a little light repast, some music and now, I'm about to watch Chelsea flatten the unfortunate Tottenham.
Cooked and ate my tea, on the phone to my best mate for an hour catching up, not seen her and her family for too long so arranged a trip down there for september, watered house plants (don't have to water outside cos of promised rain actually showing up) now off to do some ironing for the week ahead
did me ironing, listened to radio 5live's debate on teaching with some dinosaur of a knobhead ranting on how things were so much harder years ago and he's been teaching for 25 years, although he is now in an idependant school which is much like a comprehensive in that it takes students from all ranks of the navy! Eff'in bollocks, but entertaining, made the ironing fly by, listening to all the calls responding to him and his resultant spluttering
looking at css zen garden and repeatedly thinking outloud "fuck, that's gorgeous", and "how the fuck did they do that?" + OMG fucking god - re this design
deciding I really need to concetrate & try to learn css coding/design whatever & brousing amazon for how to books
Finishing my first knitted item that's for me (and isn't a hat, gloves or scarf)
Having a shower.
Lugging a case of old books down to the charity shop.
Eating some crisps
Having a nap then trying to book an internal flight in India but failing I think cos my debit card expires end of this month and my credit card is no longer externally validated... After a few getting me nowhere phone-calls I have paid the money onto a card I have used abroad before but it means I have to wait...dammit I want to be organised.
Making a casserole, writing and exchanging texts with my mum, who is now back in the UK - thankfully, because she flew out of Bangkok today and I was a bit concerned by the news coming from there...
