What stupid shit has Trump done today?

Congressional Republicans are getting ready for hell. Axios has obtained a spreadsheet that's circulated through Republican circles on and off Capitol Hill — including at least one leadership office — that meticulously previews the investigations Democrats will likely launch if they flip the House.

Why this matters: Publicly, House Republicans are putting on a brave face about the midterms. But privately, they are scrambling to prepare for the worst. This document, which catalogs requests Democrats have already made, is part of that effort.
Here are some of the probes it predicts:

President Trump’s tax returns
Trump family businesses — and whether they comply with the Constitution's emoluments clause, including the Chinese trademark grant to the Trump Organization
Trump's dealings with Russia, including the president's preparation for his meeting with Vladimir Putin
The payment to Stephanie Clifford — a.k.a. Stormy Daniels
James Comey's firing
Trump's firing of U.S. attorneys
Trump's proposed transgender ban for the military
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin's business dealings
White House staff's personal email use
Cabinet secretary travel, office expenses, and other misused perks
Discussion of classified information at Mar-a-Lago
Jared Kushner's ethics law compliance
Dismissal of members of the EPA board of scientific counselors
The travel ban
Family separation policy
Hurricane response in Puerto Rico
Election security and hacking attempts
White House security clearances

The spreadsheet — which I'm told originated in a senior House Republican office — catalogs more than 100 formal requests from House Democrats this Congress, spanning nearly every committee
Scoop: Republicans secretly study their coming hell

As if Mueller isnt enough
lol

Buggered if I can find the link now but it seems Pecker held on to a lot of stories and all deals are off.
I wonder what shit is going to surface from this one, and I wonder how much else Pecker knows.

This should resolve things. Speaking in tongues to protect Trump from witchcraft.

On a typical Wednesday, by the light of the waning moon, Kate Doucette joined several thousand strangers on the internet in casting a spell to “bind” Donald Trump.

Doucette — which is her married name, not her legal name — is one of the “resistance witches,” an at least 13,000-strong umbrella group of internet neo-pagans, Wiccans, solo practitioners who self-identify as “hedge witches,” longtime magical practitioners in various traditions, and committed activists. They’ve come together each month since Trump’s inauguration with one goal: to perform a spell — equal parts quasi-religious ritual and activist performance — to “bind” the president, forming a collective known as the #MagicResistance.

The spell, a variant on a traditional “binding” spell found in many contemporary neo-pagan and other occult practices, involves channeling energy to limit Trump’s power, “so that he may fail utterly/that he may do no harm.” (Practitioners have the option to add, “You’re fired.”)

Some members, like Doucette, cast the spell alone at home, communicating with fellow activists by Facebook Messenger around each monthly ritual, which is timed to coincide with the waning moon, and exchanging photographs of home altars. Others like Magic Resistance NYC’s moderator, known as Katherine Gojira, practice right in front of their stated enemy: casting the binding spell in front of Trump Tower.

Here's the good part:

The spell itself requires certain symbolic elements: a black candle, a white candle, a shorter orange candle to represent Trump. Participants can replace this with baby carrots, photos, or even Cheetos.

Each month, thousands of witches cast a spell against Donald Trump

At the moment it looks like the witches are winning.

We beat them in the only war we have had with them.

No we didn't, otherwise the east coast of America would still be British. And the War of 1812 was a stalemate, we kept Canada but failed in our attempt to regain the the USA and our Native American allies were brutally crushed by the Americans.

A lot of people are less than with it as far as tech goes, but this fucker has been using that phone for a long time.
Looks like there something wrong with his head.

In a harrowing video that I can’t, and absolutely won’t, stop watching, Trump attempted to put Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto on speaker phone in front of a group of reporters assembled in the Oval Office. The goal, apparently, was to talk about a new trade agreement between the U.S. and Mexico, but the outcome was an unforgettable clip that will forever be etched in our brains.

I seem to recall that you were also fighting France around the same time. Two front wars that happen over large distances, rarely work out well, even against relatively weaker opponents.

The main reason the nascent US won the War of Independence, I seem to remember, was because of a French naval blockade.

So, Trump is Macron's fault!

Merci, monsieur Président.

It came back to bite them in the arse though. The French monarchy got itself into substantial debt with it's support of the American rebels and the inability of the monarchy to pay off those debts was one of the causes of the French Revolution. The American War of Independence also provided a model and was a source of inspiration for the political radicals in France who went on to stage and lead the French Revolution.

I used to work with someone who was a Born Again Christian who claimed he could speak in tongues. When asked to prove it he quite happily stood there and made gibberish noises. No-one believed him. No-one. But he was adamant it was God speaking through him.

I mean there we were in an office, wearing suits & ties, had company cars too. And there was this pillock saying he was speaking in tongues.

To this day I still do not understand it.

We weren't trying to reclaim the USA, though - the USA was trying to claim parts of Canada, and British troops moved into the US as part of the fight, but never actually attempted to reclaim the USA.

I know the US was the one that declared war and we initially were content to leave the USA be while we fought the French, but after they did declare war we expanded our objectives from merely defending British Canada from America to annexing New England and bringing it back under British rule, however our invasion of New England was a failure and allowed the Americans to keep their independence.

I haven't read anything that says the British were trying to reclaim New England, just that they were attacking ports on the East Coast in a mostly opportunistic way.

Really?

I was under the impression the we didn't want to be Americans, so we kept them out.
Canada didn't start the war.
If we had lost, we would be Americans right now.

I said the Americans started the war, not the Canadians or more accurately the British as Canada did not exist back then.

I'm often baffled as to how we lost the war against these people.

you lost the war because you're a bunch of suckasses.

Melania Trump asks Trump fans to sign loyalty pledge for her besieged husband – East Bay Times

But Melania Trump — or people acting on her behalf — had another plan for generating good will for the besieged president. On Saturday morning, the first lady sent out a special email, asking supporters of his 2020 reelection campaign to sign a “Pledge of Presidential Support.”

The pledge, which sits on the GOP. com website, lets Donald Trump know that his fans support him “100 percent” as he faces attacks by “Democrats, the mainstream media and other powerful foes who are determined to derail (his) Presidency and destroy (him) personally.”

Presidential Pledge of Support
Authorized Website of Trump Headquarters

Dear President Trump,

Please know that I am 100% behind you in these critical times.

It’s extremely vital that we all stand together against the Democrats, the mainstream media and other powerful foes who are determined to derail your Presidency and destroy you personally.

I am proud to pledge my support and am ready to UNITE all members of our movement.
