What noise does your cat make?

They’re not mimicking squirrels, it’s just the noise the make when they see prey, esp when they can’t access it

Aye it is their excited hunting noise

(If they are indoors and the prey is outdoors, it is sometimes followed by the cat bonking its head against the window, because they aren't quite as bright as we'd like to think)

Probably true, but it does happen to sound like the sound angry squirrels make.

Nugget makes little urrp / brup / derp noises when jumping up or down from something. It's a great sound

Neela will come and sit on a chair on the kitchen if you are doing stuff and you can have a conversation with her. She makes some great noises and curls her cats toes in and out when she flops on the bed and requires stroking. Or playing like a piano
She's also a late night howler. I think it's sometimes because she can't get in to bedrooms? She will also appear at the top of the stairs and meow at me when I get home from work.

Poo shouts for food, meows at you to wake up in the morning, will sit by the door staring if she wants food in the evening. She does lots of brrrps we hen you stroke her and will yowl at me if she wants to sit on my lap/chest with her head under my chin. She will also claw your arm if she wants a fuss. If she is yowling in the night it usually means she's caught something

this is just from observation!

Mostly it's purring and the telephone noise. Sometimes I get the self-pitying cry, and occasionally she presses the A-bomb button and hisses. Thankfully this is rare.

I fostered what I think was a main coon, the biggest cat I ever saw. His poor Tabbie friend who came with him never got a look-in as BigBoy wanted on my lap at all times. Jokingly he was so big, I said to the owner "Are you sure he is a cat "
Anyroad, he got straight on my lap, and as he was so BIG, I felt a little nervous, and instead of a ROARRRR!!!! out of him came the tiniest kitten like miaow.
