Though morphine for breakfast sounds quite nice and is probably healthier than mine.

I'm out of the hospital now and on the mend but it's been quite a nasty experience.

They didn't have to do the "very unpleasant thing" in the end although they did give it a try and it was very unpleasant!!

Oh, so glad you're out of there! And that they decided against the Very Unpleasant Thing. Bodies are treacherous - well done for winning this battle with yours.

Indeed they are! It's incredible how this infection happened and how bad it got so quickly. I have a dreadful habit of touching my face, and especially my nose, all the time and I think that's how it happened. I think mittens are needed to break this habit!
