Slightly strange, it's not 6am and the cupboards are bare breakfast. 2 egg omelette with wakame, spring onion and seaweed (one of those dried packets from a box of sushi paste that has gone off). Sriracha and a bowl of edamame.

Pound of colcannon mash on seedy crispbreads. Last of the tub of mango sorbet, and made a start on a tub of Belgian chocolate orange ice cream. Feel a bit sick now.

I've just had a toast (vegan spread - not as nice as butter) but the raspberry jam was good. And a rooibos earl grey tea. This is a late snack rather than a breakfast and I'll be going to bed soon. Enjoy your breakfast feasts people

Two boiled eggs and two bits of toast. Rare I have time on a weekday but I felt like a shower last night so have a spare fifteen minutes this morning to actually sit at the kitchen table.

Got some of these out of curiosity, and they're delicious! Had mine with a smidgeon of butter and maple syrup. Usual pint of fizzy vitamin. Now I want another crumpet

The 'grain' bit makes them feel healthy even when the butter is dripping out of them.
