Guess we'll be hearing less about Milo from now on.

I get the feeling reading that that someone else using Trump's Twitter again.(That post was tongue in cheek obviously.) Trump has clearly had a lot to think about in the past 24 hours because after his unusually long twitter silence he's just come up with this nonsense. View attachment 100803
Syntax reminiscent of weak Y 10 coursework (in multi-coloured 'comedy font').I get the feeling reading that that someone else using Trump's Twitter again.

Part of the problem unfortunately is progressive types never engaging with or even troubling to understand people that have repellent views while emoting over favoured victim groups. And all that is just enabling a rather strong movement white identity movement that's completely alienated by such postures....
I don't think I can bear to watch the video, particularly if it's slanted to make viewers feel sorry for the Weavers. Deffo have more sympathy for, say, the Black men, women and children killed by the police while going about their business, or doing things that wouldn't raise an eyebrow if they were white.
There's also places in Kentucky called Scuffletown, Baskett, Curdsville, Knob Lick, Fancy Farm, Fairdealing. Peewee Valley, Lickskillet and Monkey's Eyebrow. It all becomes clear now...there is a place called Sweeden (note the slightly different spelling) in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Quick Speed up, Laura Penny is trying to get on the bash Milo bandwagon; by telling everyone about the great time she had getting pissed with him
We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I think the time, energy and money is better spent engaging with people who didn't vote, either because they didn't think it was that important or because there were barriers to voting (e.g. location of polls, restricted hours, transport, etc. - things that came about from voter suppression activities in the US.) They will be impacted by the Trump/GOP government and will at least possibly be open minded about voting next time.Part of the problem unfortunately is progressive types never engaging with or even troubling to understand people that have repellent views while emoting over favoured victim groups. PERFECT!"We need to talk about the Baskett case" says Donald.
"Yes" says everyone else.
This is quite likely. A man who rigs the floor numbering in Trump tower to make it ten stories bigly taller is quite likely to tinker with stats of all kinds....
Ensuring Reliability
“What I worry about is funding to make sure that we have money to actually gather the data, and make sure that it’s reliable and durable,” she said.
In a sign that concern is not limited to one side of the political spectrum, the conservative-leaning American Enterprise Institute and liberal-leaning Brookings Institution are co-sponsoring a conference in Washington March 2 on the “Vital role of Government Statistics: Strengthening Research, Governance, and Innovation.”
“The modern economy is more reliant on data than ever before,” the think-tanks said in an e-mail announcing the conference, with speakers that include economist Martin Feldstein, a former CEA chairman. “Without reliable information about the economic and social environment, making sensible choices that produce positive outcomes in commerce, research, and governance is impossible.”
University of Oregon professor Mark Thoma said he’s worried that the Trump administration’s championing of “alternative facts” could spread to the economic data if the economy turns sour.
“The worst thing he could do -- and I see this as a real danger -- would be to politicize the agencies that produce government economic data, to put people in place that will skew the numbers in his favor,” Thoma said in a Jan. 24 commentary for CBS MoneyWatch. “If that happens, the data will be useless, and we’ll essentially be flying blind when it comes to the true state of the economy.”
