Some people's idea of The Far Left is a caricature of Stalinism. No awareness or understanding of a vast history of working class radicalism. So they think they're being awfully clever and devilishly funny by adopting a persona that fits their preconceived idea of what people on the left are like. Do some surface level research and try and start some shit.

The Western Left pretty much assumes that position of actual leftism being something on an equal level with Stalin, Mao, Juche, etc. But what can you really do when the CIA influences people's minds into thinking that leftism is when "American liberal values" and anything against American liberalism is "reactionary NazBol Juche-Stalinist-Trumpist ideology". The CIA might have been partially involved in strengthening the liberal leftism of the "New Left" in order to discourage actual socialism and communism from spreading into the USA and instead prevent any form of "class consciousness" by making people dismiss it as "bigoted, fascist, anti-human rights, etc.".

Besides the partial-backing from CIA, we see how prominent Western Leftists in 20th and 21st century, say for only a few exceptional (Marx, Engels, Castro, Guevara) have been establishing this pro-imperialist narrative while claiming to fight for social justice and there is a list of plentiful.

SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) condemned class struggle and made an iconic break with all sense of communism and socialism with the following:

How is morality "fash"?

Yeh you can describe it - everyone can use Google here - but you can't apply it. E2a you're not that good at describing it either. Take pro-family, for example. What does that actually mean?

Pro-family in the sense which I have expressed is that I want to decommodify the family which is being corrupted by capitalism. Unlike right-wing propaganda claiming that Marxism seeks to "abolish family", the actual perspective is that families do not provide moral good to children with capitalism on the top because all they're taught is that money is above all and that children must pursue a future dedicated to making as much as money as possible. This can discourage children from pursuing more creative forms of labor as the capitalist system would seek to make jobs dedicated to profit value rather than something of one's heart.

Now, Engels did say that a nuclear family tends to act as a stronghold for private property. But why assume that such outdated form of family is justified to abolish family nowadays? Humans are social beings. Perhaps abolish the bourgeois tradition of the family and uphold the socialist tradition of the family focused on the importance of reducing socioeconomic inequality. Marriage can be non-religious because it should be the will of the two workers to engage in matrimony they consider to meet with their own criteria of love and not that of a religious institution claiming how a married life should be performed.

The main problem is when mother and father are too much absent not because they don't like the child but because of capitalism forcing them to undergo hard labor in order to support even one child. Commodification and commercialization ruined the family.
