i don't believe anyone who remains in the labour party with the stated aim of 'reclaiming' it is in any position to tell other people they're often wrong.you might - you are frequently wrong
I'm not sure there is any alternative - at the electoral level - at least at this stage. If there was a significant break away from the unions that would be different. You lot offer nothing but "you're all shit".i don't believe anyone who remains in the labour party with the stated aim of 'reclaiming' it is in any position to tell other people they're often wrong.
you may deny that but you're not refuting it.I'm not sure there is any alternative - at the electoral level - at least at this stage. If there was a significant break away from the unions that would be different. You lot offer nothing but "you're all shit".
God knows why I have his speech on but I do. It's such a load of guff sound bytes. There's fuck all substance or spine in it. There's absolutely nothing that makes me think 'oh yeah how inspiring I'll vote for ya.' Meh indeed.
Conference reacts to Ed Balls saying he will extend the cap on child benefit even longer than the Tories already are
lots of stuffwhat do you do politically, other than wank off here about the death of coppers
So then it's better to vote labour in and get the tories out.Anyone seriously believe that Labour will repeal anything the tories have done? Really?
The only difference I predict will be a bit more tax and spend (on things like the NHS) which isn't a bad thing so long as the tax comes from the right place.
Benefits and the like won't change under Labour. In fact it was them that started the "stricter benefit regime" the Tories just picked it up and ran with it as you would expect them to do.
No point askinghim, he's not even a real doctor.Who do you vote for then? Not Labour, not Conservative, certainly not Lib Dem... so, who do you vote for?

That's between me and the ballot box old chap.
if only not voting meant something
Yes.Will you still be voting Labour even after the conference has seen no repudiation of austerity measures, lengthening the child benefit cap and hoofing disabled people out of their chairs to make way for the more important people? A min wage pledge that is as meaningless now as it would be in 2020 if they had any intention of following through on it?
And the better choice is?I believe this has been pounded into you ad infinitum but don't you see that voting for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil?
What's a safe seat wells? Do you know? And the better choice is?
Which is...?Not voting for evil.
Yes.
Because the Tories will be much worse.
I fully agree it's hobson's choice and the lesser of two evils etc. But I would rather live with that vote than face another five years of this government. In fact the likelihood will be a tory majority which will be a thousand times worse.
I think it quite likley Labour will repeal the BT actually. Whether they will honour everything they pledge (whatever that may be) I don't know, but this I think so. The tories wont' repeal it. I'd much rather deal with Reeves than the inhuman cunt that is IDS. I'm well aware of what she has said in the past (some of which has been taken out of context tbf), and she doesn't even compare to the mixture of malevolence hatred and incompetence that is IDS.
You forgot Iraq and AfghanistanRemember who started the attack on benefits. Remember who started the attack on Civil Service pay. Remember whose lack of effective regulation of the banks, created this shit-storm in the first place. Remember who marched into the lobby alongside the Conservatives, to vote to maintain an overall welfare cap.

You forgot Iraq and Afghanistan
Vote monster raving Loony party, you know it makes sense
