Frank Black - Teenager of the Year

Phew, I'm glad someone got that, 'cos the only thing I could think of was Hole's Live Through This, and it clearly isn't that!

-I also 'kept thinking of another similar one which is also a (-teenage?) beauty queen in tears. I think it's by somebody a bit pop-punk, maybe? I can't remember though; can somebody please tell me who it is!? -Or am I just making it all up?... :D

Blimey, loads to catch up with

My modem melted on Sunday and I've only just got back online.

Here are two I prepared earlier (apologies in one case to a famous British artist)

First an easy one :-

I've even got the CD somewhere. I've a feeling I paid about 25p for the LP in the early 70s ... which was probably 2 weeks' pocket money or the bus fare saved by walking home.

Isn't there an interactive multimedia version online somewhere ?

I think the vinyl version was originally 48p (?), but by the time I got a second-hand copy in '84/85 from a local record stall, it cost me an 'extortionate' £1.50 (-inflation, eh!... :D).

Made me realise then that, as weird and wonderful as The Fall were at the time, they didn't just come out of nowhere.

I dunno. There's been about 4 different covers for it over the years though!

Another from me - both literal and lazy :D

yuz!

and I assume you were referring, in particular, to my efforts, but I can assure you that I did mine entirely in Paint.

You have skills then!
There are some even more professional efforts on here though - gentlegreen's faust tapes is just a c&p of the cover

I think Bridget Riley spent a bit longer on it than I did - in 1964 without the aid of MSpaint and a mouse :-
