Main thing is, there's plenty of opportunity for the opponent to return the serve, so long as they get their brain and feet moving - that's in the spirit of the game.
Mind you, the one against Tomic he bounces a spare ball on the court surface while his own serve is in play. I imagine that probably does violate some rule!

Especially after the first set! Great final. Looking forward to the doubles. Lopez looked knackered towards the end- by the end of today he will have spent more time on court in two days than many players through a whole tournament. Remarkable.

I still think Lopez and Murray will win. An I imagining it or is the break between matches way, way longer than usual?

Perhaps a longer break as it was the final and there were presentations etc. Or perhaps the organisers bent the rules a little. Apparently yesterday the breaks between Lopez’s three matches were as short as 10 minutes
