First match I’ve managed to see all of. Pavs looked good for the win without ever being really amazing. Hopefully Krejcikova/Sakkari will be better
Match of the tournament so far for me has been a women's game - Badosa v Bogdan.

Djokovic last night was...something else. :D OH and I were convulsed with laughter at THE ROAR!

its been more all over the pace then ever this year, for fairly understandable reasons. Predicting a good game in advance is all but impossible.

I was disappointed Sakkari didn't win yesterday, but she really blew it, nerves hit big time. I expect Pavs will win simply by being that lil bit calmer.

Tsitsipas is playing well at the moment, tho he's just gone a break down this set. Looks a decent match.

Tsitsipas timed his win over Zverez well, just before we had to set off for Scarborough. I reckon we can get there for the third set of Rafa/Fuckwit if there are no holdups.

We have foolishly made arrangements to go out tonight (early-ish!).

 in a restaurant socialising for third set and beyond, BBC reporting it as 'a third set described by former professionals, seasoned journalists and engrossed fans as one of the greatest ever seen'.

Bit surprised Djokovic won.

Djokovic was awesome. Nadal was brilliant as well. It's not an exaggeration. Sorry, you missed an absolute cracker.

Amazing point after amazing point, barely a mistake from either man, amazing retrieves, seeming winners returned. Blistering pace. It had the lot. Djokovic served for it, then saved a set point, then played a blinder in the tie break. As ever, came down to a couple of big points.

Fourth set, Djokovic kind of ran away with it in the end. Nadal was broken by that third set. Not often that happens to him, and well never in Paris.

Grrrr, also going to be hard to decide whether to watch Djokociv v Tsitsipas or England v Croatia...

Will probably decide going on which looks the most exciting. It's annoying as I have zero interest in any other sport (cricket, rugby, golf etc.) and there's this almighty football/tennis clash!

Did have a good night out, though.

I think I spent longer in the queue than Murray did on court at queens today. With pretty much the same result.

That's a shame. I don't really do bucket lists, but if I did Wimbledon would be on it! We have done the ballot for the last few years and tried the queue one year to no avail.

I got womens quarter final places for last year, but mrsb complained that I hadnt got tickets for her mum n dad and couldn't transfer the ticket so she (mrsb) could just go with her mum. Not that she had ever mentioned going to Wimbledon with her mother. Her dad couldnt really go cos he has a dizziness thing that means he couldnt keep turning his head like you have to. And we, apparently, couldnt go without taking mummy, so she insisted I turn them down. The fact that it was cancelled in the end didn't make me feel any better about this.

They just relseased some more tix, for about three seconds it said I had got tickets for centre court on womens final day. £200 each, but wtf? but then it said it was wrong and they were all sold out :(

I got very lucky that my dad entered the ballot "for a mate", but when he won he just gave the tickets to me and my mum :D

Meanwhile, have we covered that Osaka and Nadal are both sitting Wimbledon out this year? Quite a shame, but hope it's the right decision for both of 'em.

were they not strictly named holder only, or could you get away with it cos of the same surname?

This US Open has been pretty entertaining so far. Especially if you’re an unseeded woman or a Canadian.

I think it's been the most exciting Slam this year (I know that's not saying an awful lot). So many young stars coming through, and upsets!

Did anyone see Djokovic v Brooksby last night? Incredible tennis.

I saw a little last night, so you inspired me to watch from the beginning. An hour and a half ago.

Just finished the fifth game in set 2, the twenty minute one. Wow.
