Yep I think it is called broken coated for some reason...
Hadn’t realised how wiry and bristly their hair can be, the woman said it was only some types though
Was in town today and got chatting to a woman who had a Jack Russell. 14 years old he was, and usually quite ambivalent about people. But he was very happy to wander over towards me and let me stroke him for a few moments. Made my day

spamming the thread a bit...what can I say...new phone camera after 2 years of a shit one...
maybe should have worked out the focus beforehand but he's moving fast in a 4m circle. the clanking in the background is the washing line he keeps brushing past/colliding with
I hope he heals well and quickly!View attachment 444336
Dog back from the vet, had a lump removed from his eye. He's now equal parts clingy and sulky.
SpookyFrank how long do they have to have the lampshade on? And does it bother them?
In case you don't know, you can get inflatable donut type collars or fabric lampshades that are floppier but still hold their shape enough to work, if the standard vet lampshade is causing issues.Dunno but we tried taking it off and he instantly started worrying at his wound. he managed to start it bleeding again while he was still at the vets so it's cone of shame until further notice.
He's just about figured out how to eat and drink with it on but he's struggling to navigate the house. Also he keeps refusing to go for a piss because he's unable to sniff out a suitable spot in the back yard. Pissing without sniffing first is apparently not an option.
