Teddy was picking up rubbish on our walk this morning. He's only got to see a discarded beer can, plastic bottle or coffee cup and he just has to take it home with him for me to bin properly.

I told him I'm going to change his name to Orinoco!

Somebody's sulking as he hasn't had a walk this morning.

We tried to go out at 8am as usual but the roads were like glass as they don't grit the side roads and I couldn't risk another fall after breaking my ankle earlier this year. The sun is starting to fight its way through the mist now so as soon as the car has defrosted we'll drive down to the beach.

What makes me laugh is that we normally have to lift her onto the sofa these days because her legs aren't what they were. She literally just walked over and plonked herself down after I moved.

Bella met a large tricolour hound, with a big stick, on her afternoon walk today.
Before they played t'other dog laid his stick down by the fence, in case Bella was tempted to "borrow" it.
They had spell playing chase before splitting up to continue their walks ...

Oh isn’t it nice to have a dog, and meet other dogs, that are pretty chill re guarding their resources
My old dog, I never really got to find out how he would be with other dogs as he was so reactive in the early months, I kept him away from them. Learned a lot from my mistakes with him which I have poured into Mungo
Maybe by the time on my 4th or 5th dog, I’ll have got it sorted

Met a beautiful dog earlier - the colour of a golden retriever but a different make, sort of stockier and shorter-haired. It was the friendliest dog in the world.
