The Championship 2019-20

Leeds were (i think) 13 points ahead of Fulham not so long ago. Not now.

What a wonderful division this is! Fulham fans are not very excited about the prospect of promotion. We like it here.

It’s gonna be a great run in. Would love the Bees to get an automatic spot obvs but will be happy with a play off place, we can beat anyone in the division on our day, can lose too so looking forward to seeing what happens.

Brentford are doing very well and getting a lot of kudos as a well run club. New ground looks decent too. different from the ubiquitous, soulless new grounds you see these days.

My son is a season ticket holder at The Hawthorns. He said exactly the same and said he might not renew if the Baggies go up because he prefers the Championship.

He said that Brentford are by far the best side he has seen up the Hawthorns so far this season.

Another gritty performance from the Bees.

If we beat Leeds on Tuesday and Forest draw or lose we’ll be top on goal difference, might just be for a day until the others play Wednesday, but still...

Terrific league.

Atmosphere in Griffin Park is the best I’ve known.

My wife is joining me for the West Brom game on Paddy’s Day.

Assuming our friends in South East London get a result today of course.

Didnt happen and by all accounts the Baggies looked very good. Now is the time to hit form in this division, there are two midweek fixtures this month along with three more weekend ones remaining (its a leap year) . That's five fixtures each, some crackers as well including Brentford v Leeds and West Brom v Forest.

We'll know a bit more by March I should imagine who's going where.

Going to be down at Brentford when they play Blackburn in a couple of weeks. Wanted to see Griffin park before it goes.

Less said about Bristol City Vs Birmingham the better!

On my way to Griffin Park for what should be a cracking night.

Don’t think it’s a must win game but is definitely a can’t lose game.

I’d forgotten youse we’re playing when I made the first post. Doh!

Can’t wait to see youse on, of all days Paddy’s Day. Like I mentioned, my missus will be at Griffin Park for the first time, what a day/game for her to break her cherry.

It is a really exciting league this season

Really want to see Brentford go up. Hopefully Forest, Charlton too, but also Fulham and the Baggies too.

Not Leeds :D

If I’m going and if you fancy it - a refreshing beverage beforehand?

Would have been up for that, but the person I am meeting is quite socially isolated and I've not met them yet so it would probably be a bit much for them! :)

If we enjoy it though I'm sure we'll be back. What do you make of the new ground?

Leeds draw at Brentford. Forest lose.

Fulham can go second if we beat Millwall tomorrow.

Even though i keep insisting im not fussed if we go up, i was nervously watching the injury time in both the Forest and Leeds v Brentford game, and was chuffed when the results stayed as they did.

Might get my arse down to Millwall tonight. I dont live far, and its now turned into a biggie for us.

I live a 7 min walk from the Den but can’t go tonight.

good to know theres another White in exile in SE London.

didnt really plan to, thought £30 for a midweek game that is on Sky was a little steep.....but the Den being the ground closest to me (excluding Dulwich Hamlet) and a chance to storm into 2nd, it would be rude not to.

Millwall's equaliser last night. About 2 foot offside!

It was clear as day even from behind the goal. What did the linesman and ref say to each other when discussing it i wonder? Couldnt believe when he signalled for a goal. Outrageous decision.

Then again, they missed a penalty not long after, so i suppose our luck evened out a bit.

Not sure I agree with that. They missed a pen. No bad luck in that. Especially a pen that bad.

Good day at Brentford on the Terrace. Two beautiful goals. Thought Brentford were much the better team in the first half, but were awful for the first 15-20 minutes of the second till Watkins put that one away. Thought they were good for draw in theme though.
