The Championship 2019-20

Very strong performance from Fulham this evening. Without golden boot boy mitrovic too!

We are finally looking like the side that Went up 2 seasons ago.

One or two of the pubs say they have never relied on the club for their trade, match days were the icing on the cake, a bonus. The clubs moving nearby....half a mile at a guess

I see the new ground is the Brentford Community Stadium. This would indicate it's not sponsored. I knew their finances are healthy, but would have thought they would have gone for a sponsor. Have they delayed this pending the outcome of this season or because it's a shared ground?

New grounds often don't start off with a sponsor. Rubbish that there's no rail link for their new ground already factored in.

Brentford's Pontus Jansson has just been down on the field for about 60 seconds with one of those knocks that lots of players seem to get when their team has a one-goal lead with just moments remaining.
Football, eh?

Unlike anyone else on this thread it seems, festivaldeb was supporting Swansea** last night! :(

**As I was to an extent. But after Brentford's second goal :(., I mostly stopped following the live video/commentary -- especially as we could only access it on deb's phone! ;)

Still, I have to accept that Brentford deserved that -- from what I saw/heard they played really well, especially at the start ...... well done to them. I've never disliked them, and I enjoyed the couple of (w/Oxford) visits I made to Griffin Park (+pubs!) years ago ..... hope they go further :)

Swansea were frustrating. Outplayed, and had the same problem as Oxford did in the League 1 play-off last week -- couldn't bloody score!
