Tucker Carlson just found out that Kamala Harris went to school in Canada.
This means that she is not a real American, she is a Canadian.

As the article says, Tucker was enrolled in a Swizz boarding school, but got kicked out.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Monday used a portion of his primetime show to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming that she's "not from this country" because she went to school in Canada.

"There's a lot we don't know about Kamala Harris. Most people probably don't know she really grew up in Canada, it's where she went to high school. She's not from this country in that sense, or she's certainly also from Canada," Carlson said.

Have we had much on the Texas synagogue arson?

Texas State Guard member, 18, faces federal arson charge in Halloween synagogue fire

Franklin Barrett Sechriest is accused of lighting a fire at Congregation Beth Israel in Austin on Halloween night, causing $25,000 in damage.

An 18-year-old Texas State Guard member accused of lighting a fire at an Austin synagogue on Halloween faces a federal arson charge, according to a newly unsealed criminal complaint affidavit.

The man, Franklin Barrett Sechriest, was arrested Wednesday and accused of lighting a fire near the doors of Congregation Beth Israel at 9 p.m. on Oct. 31, causing $25,000 in damage to the synagogue, according to the affidavit.

After an investigation and witness interviews, officials “determined that the fire was intentionally set and thus an act of arson,” the complaint says.

The affidavit says Sechriest was recorded on the synagogue's surveillance video getting out of his car, carrying a container similar to a fuel jug and a roll of toilet paper, then walking toward the temple's administration office entrance on Oct. 31.

Soon after the glow of fire was visible on video, Sechriest was seen jogging away and getting back into his vehicle, the affidavit claims.

The FBI executed federal search warrants Wednesday at Sechriest’s home in San Marcos and found clothes consistent with what the person in the surveillance video was wearing, authorities said.

Agents also found an American Express card in his name that was used to buy a 5-gallon VP Racing Fuel utility jug on Sept. 6, according to the affidavit.

A search of his car found three 33-ounce glass bottles, three 32-ounce bottles of lighter fluid, a lighter and stormproof matches, which an agent described in the complaint as items commonly used to make Molotov cocktails.

According to the affidavit, investigators also found stickers in the car, one of which said, “They hate your ancestors, they hate your culture, they hate your nation, they hate your religion … it’s okay to hate them back.” Authorities said another sticker displayed swastikas with the slogan: “Would you kill them all to see your rights? The price of freedom is paid in blood.”

Investigators also found a journal belonging to Sechriest in which he wrote “scout a target” on Oct. 28, three days before the fire, they said.

On Oct. 31, the day of the fire, he wrote in his journal, “I set a synagogue on fire,” according to the affidavit.

The same day also "coincidentally" saw the Goyim Defense League driving on a roadtrip through Texas, here's a clip of them having a good laugh with a local cop:

(For accuracy, I think it's not been fully confirmed that there's any connection between Sechriest and the GDL, but that would be quite some coincidence if so.)

Returning to Texas for a moment and disgraced Michael Flynn has been wooing Christian conservatives

"The idea that the left controls absolutely everything—from your smartphone to the money supply to your third grader’s curriculum—explains the apocalyptic tone that was the dominating emotional register of this conference. The politicians’ speeches were like entries in the catastrophism Olympics"

...

"These people have certainly done their homework when it comes to cultural Marxism—how the left has learned to dominate culture and how the right now needs to copy their techniques. If I’d had to drink a shot every time some speaker cited Herbert Marcuse or Antonio Gramsci, I’d be dead of alcohol poisoning."

Jesus wept.

Also, I do not claim to be any sort of intellectual or indeed particularly intelligent but I just cannot get my head around how you believe this:

"The country is under assault from a Marxist oligarchy..."

I just ... what?! Marxist oligarchs??? What?

I also note that the author mentions that all the younger attendees "...went to colleges smothered by progressive sermonizing..."

It's a criticism I've heard before, that "political correctness" (or now I guess, "wokeness") has utterly crippled proper debate in US Universities (there have been similar rumblings over here but somehow they seemed lesser) ... whether real or not, it seems to be an idea that has thoroughly taken root, this "oppression" of the right ... if you're young and conservative (note the small c) it must be a heady thing to feel that you are the oppressed fighting against left wing oligarchs.

Guess that's what culture wars can deliver, right? Say a thing often enough and it becomes true, even if it doesn't stand up to even a minutes scrutiny. Just don't scrutinise then!

my suggestion would be, diaf

nb: "proud". also, he's the victim.
"They don't like me cos vaccine and Trump"
"They haven't spoken to me in 10 years"

They thought you were a cunt long before vaccines or (politics) Trump were things.

"I have a substantial rental property portfolio"

Oh yeah, turns out they were right.

"My goal and organizations like We the Veterans and Veterans for American Ideals of Human Rights are to knock these people off-center," Goldsmith continued. "They have gone unopposed for years. They've been talking about the violence out in the open, and nobody's done anything."

Boebert's "jokes", Gosar's fantasies - someone's going to end up killed over these kind of inciting crowd pleasers

Ilhan Omar: Lauren Boebert’s ‘Jihad Squad’ bigotry is ‘no laughing matter’

The US Capitol police reported earlier this year that the agency had seen a 107% increase in threats against members compared with 2020. The USCP chief, Tom Manger, has said he expects the total number of threats against members to surpass 9,000 this year, compared with 3,939 such threats in 2017.

Some of those threats have been on vivid display in the past month. In addition to Gosar’s violent video, the 13 House Republicans who voted in support of the bipartisan infrastructure bill earlier month have received threatening messages.

Representative Fred Upton of Michigan publicly shared one such message, in which a man called the Republican congressman a “fucking piece of shit traitor”. “I hope you die. I hope everybody in your fucking family dies,” the man said in the message.

And those kinds of threats are not reserved solely for members of Congress. Election workers and school board members also say they are receiving more violent messages. According to an April survey commissioned
by the Brennan Center for Justice, nearly one in three election officials are concerned about their safety while on the job.

Call me old fashioned but it is kind of weird bringing races into a program where it didn't previously exist.

I do not understand what you are upset about.

I keep on opening new tabs to see why you are so upset.

All seem to indicate that the poster was commenting on a Big Bird post of mine.

Apart from Gordon, Susan, Maria, Luis and countless other characters since the very start. Race, racism (and other social "issues") have been discussed by the human and muppet characters ... and ignoring the furore from the far right, perhaps it's a good thing to have more representation for Asian-Americans.

I didn't realise that children's programs were the new front we were fighting on. Can you explain what was racist about it previously?

Lol, Sesame Street wasn't racist. The opposite, actually.

It's always annoyed the right/middle aged white guys. And still does.

Anti-Sesame Street fervor is not exactly new, as I learned during my nearly two year stint there as a lowly production assistant. People had a problem with everything from Bert and Ernie’s sexuality, that time Cookie Monster tried to eat healthier, and the introduction of an HIV positive muppet named Kami. Apparently not everyone was on board with the company’s mission to help kids grow “stronger, smarter, and kinder”.

Cruz affirmed his party’s anti-muppet stance last week after Big Bird tweeted, “I got the Covid-19 vaccine today! My wing is feeling a little sore, but it’ll give my body an extra protective boost that keeps me and others healthy.”

Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, declined to comment on the social media interaction.

Cruz isn’t the only one who thinks the educational program is sinister. When Elmo and his father discussed racism in the wake of protests for George Floyd in a CNN town hall for kids, Fox News host Tucker Carlson criticized the children’s television show, saying it was telling children that America is a “very bad place” and it was their fault.

Airing for the first time 52 years ago, Sesame Street’s roots are in the civil rights movement. With a groundbreaking diverse human cast and an array of colorful muppets, it was a trailblazer. In early episodes Grover even learned about civil disobedience from a hippie.

Based on that then, it seems somewhat bizarre to bring racial politics to the eyes of children where it never existed. But you're rubbing your hands together with glee that it's a good thing?
