Suella Braverman's time is up.

She has now gone beyond the level of "normal" rightwing lunacy and entered the realm of utterly unbelieveable insanity

London Gaza rally: Braverman accuses Met of bias over Gaza marches

This is priming us all for Sunday's piece which she's no doubt already written...

See the brave flaggy boys who came out yesterday to protect our lovely cenotaph - they got dispersed, just for being patriotic! Meanwhile thousands of muslamic hate marchers were allowed to go on unarrested! Look how the police are all woke and anti-white, it's a disgrace!

Straw in the wind and all that (& from the totally useless Philp)....but that comment in the Commons looks like an early sign that she might be getting her wish to be hoofed...

I understand that her opinions are not necessarily influenced by her husband, and the MSM has been very co-operative by not mentioning him. But would they be so reticent if she was married to an Arab?

Kate McCann of Times radio is saying on Xitter that No 10 DID see Braverman's article and suggested amendments to the Home Office.

Allegedly that's not the same as No 10 signing it off.

Paisley Jr gets stuck in (from the graun)

DUP MP Ian Paisley defends Braverman, accusing her critics of 'hand-wringing hypocrisy'

Only two Conservative backbenchers spoke up to defend Suella Braverman in the Commons urgent question, but Ian Paisley, the DUP MP, also came to her defence. He told the Commons.

When women were treated brutally and unjustly by the Metropolitan police in this city in the wake of the Sarah Everard murder, this house – inside and out – members came out to criticise the police, correctly, for their failure and their brutality …
The hand-wringing hypocrisy and the pant-wetting that we are seeing over someone criticising the police correctly is amazing.

Will Depraverman be ditched or will it be another case of 'its the hope that kills you'?

I dont like to guess but maybe the whole 'Sunak weakness' angle combined with the usual 'sensitivities' over policing will be enough to see her gone this time.

The beeb commentators seems to be indicating she's deliberately trying to get sacked. Not quite sure why? To be a martyr for the right?
