I've seen the original, and it's very, very dark. But in a way, I thought it only worked because the family are Danish. I found it hard to believe someone else would put up with that level of shit without packing their bags and fucking off. (one of those rare cases where I'll say "fuck that, I'd leave" and really mean it)Just watched this and I recommend it if you are into psychological scares. Good actors. It’s a remake and I haven’t seen the original but this one was great.
No, it’s a cinema releaseIs this on Netflix?
I also think part of its charm is being shot on a shoestring, with minimal crew in the middle of Covid. It's really tight, and I'm not sure a looser production suits it.Not sure I want to see this. The original is harrowing enough.
Does it matter as it’s kind of bothWould it be classified as a "horror film" or a "psychological thriller"?
I don't like horror films, but i do enjoy psychological thrillers, so; yes, it matters...Does it matter as it’s kind of both
What’s the difference? Is Silence Of The Lambs a horror film or a psychological thriller?I don't like horror films, but i do enjoy psychological thrillers, so; yes, it matters...

I would call it psychological.Would it be classified as a "horror film" or a "psychological thriller"?
Charm?I'm a bit annoyed it's been remade to be honest. A lot of the charm derives from the Danish/Dutch culture clash.
Charm?
The couples in the remake are British and American so there is still that clash
