Sturgeon formally installed as new SNP leader this morning.

Stewart Hosie has been elected Deputy Leader.

As Hosie is an MP, he won't be Deputy FM, so Sturgeon will be picking her own Deputy FM.

Specifically? He talks left, but dragged his feet on supporting banking reform. He's very much in the neoliberal camp as regards regulation of the banking sector, lagging behind even the Washington Consensus rethinking of presentation regarding financial sector reform. You couldn't put a Rizla between him and Jim Murphy on the matter.

Sturgeon rumoured to be about to axe Kenny MacAskill from her cabinet.

This is in and of itself a Good Thing.
