Just to say, Earl Bostic was a fantastic alto sax player. Much as I love Coltrane and Charlie Parker, Earl Bostic really knew how to beef it up, and knew every trick in the book. I also seem to recollect that Bird and John Coltrane were inspired by his playing.

Grant Green was a fantastic guitarist, but Joe Henderson's tenor sax solo from around 7 mins 40 seconds is really beautiful.
