It always sounds a bit out of tuneful to me.

I was considering the Rio sax solo yesterday. It never seems quite so out of place and 'just because it's the 80s' as other 80s sax.

on that tip, it's clarinet rather than sax, but Death Sentence: Panda! are/were great.

I found a clarinet in a charity shop this year and and playing my first free improv/noise gig with it in January... I have left every other band to devote to this*.
