Not enough notice! AGAIN!
I will make one of these, one day!
nice 1There was a good show with Footsie and his dad a few weeks back. His dad (Wassie One) was playing some good uk roots.
Got a date lined up for the next one yet?Uncle Dugs dropping by to play some tunes tomorrow night
just listening to some podcasts. really good but so many fucking shout outs!Uncle Dugs played some old old old stuff last week. Halfway through the show so far and I've not heard a lot of it before as it's well before my time. Love it.
What does this mean, ska invita?if only the stream and podcasts were a higher bitrate
when you listen online or to a podcast its like listening to an mp3 at 128kbps (in fact it is a 128kbps mp3) and often sounds very lossy i find, where as the FM signal is crystal and strong. What does this mean, ska invita?
That's probably it, then. I listen using headphones and my phone on my commute.especially on speakers or good headphones i really notice it - little earbuds or laptop speakers is fine
i think thats why theyve kept it low, so people can stream on their phones - its a shame though as it music thats designed to be boomed out...That's probably it, then. I listen using headphones and my phone on my commute.
Bump as this show is on tonight!Nice show coming up this week:

Son of Dub Reggae Legend Jah Shaka, Young Warrior hooks up with Dubstep major player VIVEK for a special Dub meets Dubstep session!
V.I.V.E.K:
Todays electronic music scene revolves continuously on hype, and there are few artists and label camps that can rely almost entirely on their musical content to do their talking. Mala's 'Deep Medi' camp and V.I.V.E.K the artist are noted exceptions to this rule.
Influenced by the golden years of Drum N Bass and a steady diet of dub and roots music, V.I.V.E.K has been honing his musical construction skills since 2004. Progressing naturally from DJing to production, and originally beginning to build music around the 170 tempo, 140 bpm was the pitch that worked for V.I.V.E.K to shape his unique subterranean groove.
YOUNG WARRIOR:
Predominately known as being the son of Dub Legend Jah Shaka , Young Warrior has rapidly gone on to become an individual key player in the Dub Music industry. Touring the globe for 10 years he has created a massive international following all of races & ages.
He's gone on to create the famous hand built sound system with the ''Blue boxes'', creator of his own music organisation & manages to always unveil a wealth deep self produced Dub.

On another note hats off to Rinse for having a fair few female djs on the roster - dance music tends to be a bit of a male dominated thing and its great to hear so many female voices on teh station. Ive even come to like Julie on the daily drive show - she started off pretty amateurish but has really gotten good at it over time. Thats another thing I like about Rinse, they really bring people through....
