Rinse FM

Not into that. I think the Hessle Audio and Optimo shows are by far the best shows on there at the mo. Not much grime is exciting me at the mo. Didn't like much of the recent grime takeover.

other than that cover set is Ron involved with RInse now? On that link in the jungle thread it makes out like hes working in the office or something....

He often pops in to the studio during Uncle Dugs' show if there's a guest, to say hello.

By the way, ska invita, I listened to a Marcus Nasty show before Christmas on your recommendation and very good it was too. Cheers.
glad to hear it
theres a couple of his radio sets with guest mcs which are best avoided though
i find its music that sounds better on speakers than headphones - its more body than head music iyswim

Really good to have Spoony back on air with a garage show (Friday evening). Takes me back to ace days back around 97-2000.

I quite like his programming, always have done, he's one of the more respectable UK Garage dj's ;)

I suppose Rinse getting him on the airwaves was inevitable what with the big "UK Garage" renaissance, though a lot of that "UK Garage" style sound is branded as Deep House these days  I suppose their is a crossover of sorts...and the sound has come back at a slower tempo and more groovy in some ways. Mind you, back in the early days some of those UK Garage dj's were reknowned for pitching up those Kerri Chandler and Todd Edwards records at +8 on the 1210's!
